We’re thrilled once again to be running our RS Feva Racing programmes, aimed at 11-14 years sailors!
Our objective is to get 11-14 year olds who have good sailing skill racing in the friendly and welcoming RS Feva Class events. The programme combines pre-event coaching with support while competing, and the social aspect of the programme is designed to give youngsters the best experience of one-design dinghy racing.

- RS Feva Eastern Championships – Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th May – Greystones Sailing Club, Wicklow
- RS Fest – Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th July – RS Fest at Lough Derg Yacht Club, Co Tipperary
- MarineServices.ie Super Series – Saturday morning racing, once per month from September.
- DMYC Frostbite Series – Sunday Afternoons, 1-5pm, from November to March – Dun Laoghaire
Getting Involved
Sailors from our 11-14 years section of the Saturday Sailing – Junior Club are welcome to take part. Sailors would need to have nearly completed their Level 4 or higher to participate. Sailors who are interested should chat with their group head instructor at the weekends.

Please chat with the instructors and our office team prior to booking as each students sailing standard would need to be assessed to ensure they will benefit from moving onto the next stage of their sailing development.
RS Feva Easterns – Training & Event
Coaching runs on Saturdays from 10am-5pm:
- Saturday 6th April
- Saturday 13th April
- Saturday 20th April
- Saturday 27th April
RS Feva Eastern Championships – Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th May running from Greystones Sailing Club. Racing will take place on the Saturday and Sunday.
The cost for training and event including event entry fees is €375.
RS Feva Racing at RS Fest – Training & Event
Coaching runs on Saturdays from 10am-5pm:

- Saturday 15th June
- Saturday 22nd June
- Saturday 29th June
RS Fest is a weekend of racing for all RS Classes in Ireland and runs on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th July in Lough Derg Yacht Club, Co. Tipperary. The cost for training and event, including event entry fees is €400. Please note, travel and accommodation for the event is not included in this fee. We’ll hold an information session for parents about this event prior to sign up opening.
MarineServices.ie Super Series
Saturday morning racing sponsored by RS Ireland / MarineServices.ie runs from 10am-12.30pm once per month from October to March. All Feva sailors signed up the junior club are welcome to take part. Racing is organised by the school team here.
DMYC Frostbite Racing
The local West Pier based Dun Laoghaire Motor Yacht Club runs racing all November, December, January, February and March on Sunday afternoons. We’ll have a support structure and boat charter option for sailors from the Summer campaigns to take part. More information will be released closer to the time.
