Attending a Course - 4-6 Years

The course runs from 9am-12.30pm daily on the above dates.

We will provide a buoyancy aid for your child.  It is necessary to bring the following items each day:

  • Raincoat/waterproof jacket
  • Change of Clothes
  • Hat and Sun cream
  • Old Trainers or Crocs
  • Packed Lunch
  • Parental Consent Form – see below

We require a completed parental consent form for each child upon registration on the first day of the course. A personalised form is attached to your confirmation email. Please download and fill out our consent form and bring it in on the first day of the course.

If you are unable to print the form, we will have spares on the day.

Our clubhouse is the first building on the West Pier. You can’t miss us once you get close; we’re a white building with our name displayed in large lettering. Landmarks close-by include The Purty Kitchen Seafood Restaurant and the West Pier Filling Station.

We are well served by public transport; the nearest DART Station is Salthill & Monkstown. Bus numbers 7, 7A, 45A, 46A, 59, 746, 111, 63 and 75 all serve Dun Laoghaire and are a few minutes’ walk from the clubhouse.

For further information on how to find us please click here.

Our stewards will direct you to the correct location upon your arrival, and additionally, you will receive an email from us detailing where to go in the week proceeding your child’s course.

This age group is to be registered at our Coal Harbour base, which is accessed by following the right-hand turn before the single-lane causeway. Drop off and collection for these groups will be here for the remainder of the week. Map at bottom of page

We would ask that when dropping and collecting students to us that you park in a safe and careful manner. Dun Laoghaire Harbour Police have specifically asked us to remind parents that parking in the yellow box outside our main Clubhouse is illegal, and also endangers the safety of your child – the clamp release fee is €80. We will provide stewards outside our Clubhouse and around the West side of the Harbour to advise on parking issues and collection and drop off points.

Alternative options to driving down to outside our Clubhouse are to park in Monkstown, near the service station (access to our main Clubhouse via railway bridge), or for access to Seapoint Beach Compound by parking in Salthill & Monkstown DART Station Car Park (access to beach base is via railway bridge in car park).

Designated parking is available at our Seapoint Summer Beach Base.
