1. Cruise down the coast and a race back to Dun Laoghaire Harbour

You and your team will learn the basics of sailing one of our fleet of J80’s and enjoy a picturesque cruise around Dublin Bay, Dalkey and Killiney, taking in sights such as Sorento Terrace, the Forty Foot, Dalkey Island and the Muglins. Our instructors will teach you the ropes while showing you the sights and sounds of the bay. Once everyone is up to speed, we’ll organise an informal race back to Dun Laoghaire testing teams to work together to sail the boat efficiently – a great teambuilding activity.

This option lasts for 3 hours in duration costs €350 per boat, with 5 places available on each yacht.

2. Sail Coaching & Regattas

Designed for the more competitive group, our fleet of J80’s yachts are all identical, with crews of 5 students per boat along with a race instructor, the boat to win on the day will be the boat on which the crew works together best. The crew’s instructor will teach the basics of getting the boat to move and then we’ll move onto the racing. We’ll run a number of mini-races and calculate the results to find the winning team on the day.

3. Series of Sail Training Lessons

Are your colleagues looking for a way to unwind after work and gain a new skill? Why not arrange sailing lessons tailored at a time to suit your company’s office hours? Sailing is used by many companies worldwide as a sport for networking outside office hours and as an employee incentive. Previous clients have used this option to improve networking between different departments and improve teamwork.

The cost and duration of this programme depends on what course you’re looking for, however, we would recommend the Start Sailing – Keelboat Level 1 Course. This programme lasts over 4 evenings, running for 3 hours each evening. The cost would depend on the number of participants but €300 per person would serve as a good guide.

Our fast RIBs are powered by 400 horsepower engines giving thrilling speeds in comfort and safety. We can tailor packages to suit a wide variety of options, from wildlife tours to transfer trips from Dublin City to Howth, Malahide or Greystones, there are no limits to your imagination for these thrilling trips. 5. Yacht Cruises on Dublin Bay – Learn to sail while taking in the sights

Gentle cruises around Dublin Bay, taking in the sights of the beautiful Dalkey Coastline and Dalkey Island itself before entering the spectacular Killiney Bay with a unique view of the exquisite Sorrento Terrace from the sea all while learning to sail one of our fleet of larger yachts. More relaxed than the J80, Beaufort Venture is ideal for those looking for an group event where team members can unwind, all while learning the skills of sailing under the guidance of an experienced skipper. Prices start at €500 for 3 hours aboard, with the yachts capable of carrying 7 passengers.
